Biafrans Demands Freedom From UN As UK Withdraws From EU:
It has been quite astonishing for Biafrans ever since 1973 the Government of the United Kingdom UK, started agitating to quit European Union.
Following the June 2016 referendum, in which 52% voted to leave, the UK government formally announced the country’s withdrawal in March 2017, beginning the Brexit process. The UK withdrew from the EU at 11 p.m. GMT on 31 January 2020, beginning a transition period that is set to end on 31 December 2020. During the 11-month transition period, the UK and EU will negotiate their future relationship.[The UK remains subject to European Union law and remains part of EU Customs Union and European Single Market during the transition period, but is no longer represented in the EU’s political bodies or institutions.
Withdrawal is advocated by Eurosceptics and opposed by pro-Europeanists, both of whom span the political spectrum. The UK joined the European Communities (EC) (principally the European Economic Community (EEC)) in 1973, with continued membership endorsed in a 1975 referendum. In the 1970s and 1980s, withdrawal from the EC was advocated mainly by the political left, e.g. in the Labour Party’s 1983 election manifesto. The 1992 Maastricht Treaty founded the EU, but was not put to a referendum. The eurosceptic wing of the Conservative Party led a rebellion over ratification of the treaty and, with the UK Independence Party (UKIP) and the cross-party People’s Pledge campaign, pressured Conservative Prime Minister David Cameron to hold a referendum on continued EU membership, which was held in June 2016. Cameron, who had campaigned to remain, resigned after the result and was succeeded by Theresa May.
Despite the Ups and downs, the Government of the United Kingdom finally left European Union on Friday January 31 2020.
Ironically, United Kingdom being the country that colonized and masterminded Nigeria’s Amalgamation of both North and South have refused to pay attention to Biafrans quest for freedom.
Several call for referendum have been made both locally and internationally, yet the Government of United Kingdom and Nigeria have taken it for granted.
It’s a prevailing objective reality that the Government of the United Kingdom in collusion with Nigerian Government, have been killing Biafrans in daily basis and sharing their natural resources.
In my opinion, the United Kingdom does not deserve freedom at all owing to this travesty of justice in Nigeria.
Remember, we are all humans! So, what is good for your CITIZENS, BIAFRANS can not be an exception.
Family Writers Press International noted:
“Officially UK leaves EU: Now question begging for answer is, do Britain have any moral right to hold Biafrans bond in Nigeria?
If Brits deserves freedom, Biafrans should also be allowed to enjoy this same freedom.
What is good for the goose is good for the gander.
I hereby call on Biafrans to stand and fight for their right.”
Britain cannot hold you trapped in a contraption called Nigeria for their economic benefit yet secured freedom for her citizens.
We must Restore Biafra, today Britain lost the argument of standing and supporting the indivisibility of Nigeria. As long as Brexit happened, Biafra Exit Must as well happen.”
The former Minister of Aviation Barrister Femi Fani Kayode wrote on behalf of the Sout West (Oduduwas) Nigeria:
I congratulate and felicitate with the people of Great Britain because today they have finally been liberated from 40 years of bondage and the evil shackles of the European Union.
Oppression, tyranny, evil, bondage, slavery and subjugation never last forever and I have the prescence of mind to know that, no matter how bad things get, one day the cheated, oppressed, despised, persecuted and marginalised people of Southern and Middle Belt Nigeria will also rise up to the occassion and take their freedom.
Today belongs to the people of Great Britain but tomorrow belongs to the good people of the South and Middle Belt.
In the fullness of time we shall be liberated from the cruel shackles and heavy chains of the accursed vassal state and relentless Fulani empire called Nigeria.
I call on the courageous, proud, resilient and long-suffering men and women of the South and the Middle Belt to stand firm, hold your heads up high and continue to be strong knowing that our final liberation is coming soon.
Soon we too shall be free. Soon we too shall have our very own BREXIT!
Soon we too shall no longer be treated like filth and garbage by aliens, foreigners and non-indegenees in our own fatherland.
Soon we too shall bo longer be regarded as nothing more than indentured servants and willing slaves on our own soil.”
