There are insinuations following the official resignation of Gov. Godwin Obaseki of Edo state from APC that he may be adopted, granted waiver and presented as PDP gubernatorial flag bearer in the Edo forthcoming election.
In a swift reaction, Oshiomhole threatens legal action against the main opposition party reminding them that they (PDP) had taken Obaseki to court on certificate related scandals when he contested under the platform of APC in 2016
The suspended party chairman questioned the rationale for adoption him as a flag bearer by PDP stating that it was difficult for them (APC) to pull through the court case established against him (Obaseki) just that the PDP did not present their evidence on time and the case was struck out.
He threatens that if the same Godwin Obaseki comes back to contest for governorship, the APC will pull through by adopting PDP submissions in the court and garnishing it with more weighty evidence that they have come to realise.
