Following the re-opening of Sasa market, business activities have resumed at the market though at a lower ebb – Galaxy Television reports
It will be recalled that Governor Seyi Makinde after a meeting with some leaders of the market disclosed the reopening of Shasha market as well as the closure of Iroko Market.
The Galaxy television correspondent, that visited the market, saw few traders and customers who came to purchase food items while trailers were seen entering the markets with some farm produce.
Sources gathered that the security agents were also seen patrolling the market to ensure peace.
Two traders , Alhaji Ibraheem Hammed and Mr Muh’d Saheed Abdsalam, appreciated the efforts of Governor Makinde and other stakeholders in the state for the reopening of the market.
Also, a customer, Mrs Titilayo Badmus expressed happiness on the development, saying that Sasa remained a main market to buy pepper and other ingredients.
