Nigerian Senator Join Mbaka Calls for Buhari’s Impeachment

A Senator of the federal republic of Nigeria has called for President Muhammadu Buhari’s Impeachment as insecurity continue to prevail in the country.

In line with the request of the Senator, a notable Catholic Priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Fr Ejike Mbaka, was during the week called for the impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari over the high level of insecurity in the country.

He added, “Let me tell you; if it is in a civilized country, by now, President Buhari would have resigned with what is happening.

“Nigerians are crying because there’s no security in the country, the House of Representatives should impeach the president if he doesn’t want to resign,” Mbaka said.

Meanwhile, Osun East Senator, Francis Fadaunsi said the Buhari-led government has failed in the primary task of securing the country and its citizens.

He said it is therefore imperative the Senate wades in to salvage the country while harping on the need to discard partisan sentiments while at it.

According to the Galaxy TV, the Senator who is of the opposition People’s Democratic Party PDP, said members of the Upper Chamber of the Nigerian Parliament are now overwhelmed with the news of bloodshed that is now commonplace during plenary sessions.

It should be recalled that on Tuesday during Plenary visibly angry lawmakers noted that the government had been evasive on issues that ought to be given attention, particularly those bordering on security.
